Where should I stay?
Deciding where to stay in Halifax depends on what you are looking for from your vacation.
If you want to be walking distance to all the major attractions, eateries and things to do in the city, we recommend staying in the Downtown Halifax region.
If you are renting a vehicle or are comfortable with public transit and a little extra walking, the North End, West End or Dartmouth are all great regions to stay during your visit (all of which are just 5-10 minutes from Downtown Halifax).
If you prefer to stay further outside the city, closer to nature, hiking and beaches, we recommend staying at one of the many B&Bs in the Peggy's Cove Coastal Region, Bedford-Sackville, or the Eastern Shore. Then of course, in the Airport Region there are plenty of hotels conveniently located nearby for ease and convenience to your flight.
Visit our accommodation page and filter by region for more details.
