Halifax’s Eastern Shore is made up of many unique coastal communities and working fishing harbours. It is known for its scenic natural environment, outdoor adventure and excellent bird watching.
It’s main attractions are the popular beaches (where we recommenced surf lessons!), trails, Fisherman’s Cove, Memory Lane Heritage Village, the 100 Wild Islands and provincial parks. There is also a growing number of Bed and Breakfasts, cabins, lodges, cottages and inns, offering a unique and cozy accommodation choice outside of the downtown core.
