The Dartmouth-Cole Harbour Region is comprised of Dartmouth and Cole Harbour, communities located on the opposite side of the Halifax Harbour and beyond.
Over the past few years, Downtown Dartmouth has grown into a vibrant community with top-notch cafes, gourmet restaurants, chic shops, fabulous lunch spots, unique galleries, and an overall plethora of amazing things to do. Known by locals as the “City of Lakes”, Dartmouth also has fantastic outdoor parks intertwined through its dozens of lakes. It’s also home so major shopping centres, Dartmouth Crossing (home of IKEA!) and Mic Mac Mall.
Just 5 minutes past Dartmouth is Cole Harbour, a suburban community best known for being the birthplace of Sidney Crosby, famous hockey player and 3-time Stanley Cup Winner. Partially sitting on the Atlantic ocean coastline, this community includes fantastic beaches, trails and parks such as the Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park and the Salt Marsh Trail.
