Dine Around Halifax

Dine Around is a month-long foodie event celebrating Nova Scotia’s innovative culinary scene with specially-curated menus available only during Dine Around.

Dine Around happens every year throughout the month of February. The event will take place from February 1-28, 2025.

Local restaurants will curate special menus to offer during Dine Around only. Menus are set at $10, $20, $30, $40, $50 and $60 price points.

AS A DINER: Choose from any of the participating restaurants (soon-to-be-announced) and book directly with the restaurant or ask for the Dine Around menu if you come to these establishments without a reservation. Reservations are strongly recommended.

AS A RESTAURANT OR HOTEL: If you are a restaurant or hotel looking to participate in Dine Around, you can opt in here.

Absolutely! Participating restaurants can offer lunch menus, dinner menus, or both at multiple price points ($10, $20, $30, $40, $50 or $60).

Dine Around is organized by Discover Halifax, in partnership with The Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (RANS).

Discover Halifax requires someone on our team to “approve” your changes. We try to do this as fast as possible, but sometimes it can take a day or two, especially if the change is made on a weekend. Once the change is approved, you will receive an email and the changes will be visible within 24 hours.

Note: We encourage you to wait until you receive the approval email before acting on the changes.

Yes! Restaurants have the opportunity to donate $1 or $2 of their Dine Around menus to Feed Nova Scotia.

This year, Dine Around has more partners than ever. In addition to the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia and Discover Halifax, the following partners are involved in the event.

Burnside Brewing: Burnside Brewing is Dine Around’s 2025 Official Beer Sponsor. Participating Dine Around Restaurants can enjoy a specially priced $99 keg of Killick Premium Lager which includes a $10 donation to Feed Nova Scotia)

Feed Nova Scotia: Restaurants are able to donate $1 or $2 of their Dine Around menus sold to Feed Nova Scotia. Now more than ever, members of our communities are experiencing challenges with accessing food. As a restaurant participating in Dine Around, you can support Feed Nova Scotia to assist with food security in our home province. For every $2 donation Feed Nova Scotia is able to distribute enough food for three meals worth of food

Nova Scotia Loyal: Nova Scotia Loyal is coming back as a partner, offering two huge prizes to participating Dine Around restaurants. Any restaurant serving Nova Scotia Halibut or Beef in their Dine Around menu will be entered in to win one of two $2,500 prizes.
