The Dartmouth-Cole Harbour Region is comprised of Dartmouth and Cole Harbour, located on the opposite side of the harbour from Downtown Halifax.
Known as the City of Lakes, Dartmouth is a welcoming destination with a fascinating history, plenty of outdoor adventure, as well as an amazing local food scene, boutique and big-box shopping, and of course, the unique Downtown Dartmouth core.
Just 5 minutes past Dartmouth is Cole Harbour, a suburban community best known for being the birthplace of Sidney Crosby, famous hockey player, and 3-time Stanley Cup Winner. Touching on the Atlantic coastline, this community includes fantastic beaches and trails, including Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park and the Salt Marsh Trail.
Hop on the ferry or head for the bridges to explore all that the Dartmouth-Cole Harbour region has to offer.
