Stair Heroes

Stair Heroes is a unique, stair climb held at Scotia Square Mall in Halifax.  Together we will STEP-UP for the 1 in 5 Nova Scotians and Islanders living with lung disease and raise critical awareness and funds for the Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Our hero theme is based on our partnership with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency. Our community heroes will be joining us and climbing the 36 flights in full fire fighting gear to show their support of lung health!

Top three fundraisers will receive:​

1st place fundraiser – $1000 Westjet voucher

2nd place fundraiser – $500 Westjet voucher

3rd place fundraiser – $250 Westjet voucher

We will have one main wave for climbers. We will also have some special challenge categories for emergency services personnel, political leaders, gyms, and the media. There will also be a special category for our firefighters, who make the climb in full gear!

Dress up in your team colours, wear uniforms, office T’s, or in honour of someone you know living with lung disease…. Whatever you choose, it’s all about having fun.

Registration fees include; a participation medal, swag bag, light refreshments and entertainment for the entire family.  Scotia Square will be bustling with activities for the kids, music and special guests.
