There are plenty of reasons to choose a hotel, and Halifax has plenty of fantastic accommodations, no matter what you’re looking for. Maybe you want to stay someplace convenient and centrally located, or perhaps you’re looking for a hotel that’s pet-friendly, or maybe somewhere with a restaurant or bar onsite. Personally, I look for hotels with pools! There are few things better than starting your day with a morning swim, or relaxing in a hot tub after a long day of exploring.
Without further ado, here is my round-up of 10 great Halifax hotels with pools – enjoy!
The Prince George Hotel is routinely listed as one of the best hotels in Halifax. They’re also known for their amazing onsite restaurant, Gio.
On top of all that goodness, if you’re looking for a unique pool experience, their pool and hot tub is on the top floor of the hotel, and features beautiful skylights.

If you’re set to explore the waterfront on your visit to Halifax, look no further than the Westin Nova Scotia.
Located right across the street from the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market, the Cunard Centre and the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, the Westin Nova Scotian’s lovely hot tub and salt water pool are the best way to unwind after a day on your feet.

Situated in the centre of Halifax, the Courtyard Halifax is the place to stay if you want to be in the heart of it all.
Located on bustling Barrington Street, all of Halifax is at your feet when you stay at the Delta Hotel Barrington.
The vibrant Tempo Food + Drink has a daily Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm that is frequented by locals and hotel guests alike – maybe I’ll see you there!

Is there anything better than waking up to see the ocean? If you stay at the Halifax Marriot Harbourfront Hotel that view could be yours!
Are you coming to town for an event at the Scotiabank Centre? You should stay at the new Hampton Inn by Hilton Halifax Downtown.
It’s just a short walk from the venue (as in about 1 block away!), so you don’t have to worry about parking! Best of all, if it’s a rainy day you can spend it in the pool!

Are you in town to do some shopping? Chateau Bedford is just a short drive from both Bayers Lake and the Halifax Shopping Centre.
Get energized with a swim, followed by their complimentary hot breakfast and you’ll be ready to take on the day!
There are lots of great reasons to stay at the Hollis Halifax, including its fantastic downtown location, and Ryan Duffy’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant, but don’t forget that they’ve also got a pool and hot tub on site too!
Looking to relax in nature? Located on Halifax’s Chocolate Lake, this hotel features lakefront dining and is just a short walk to the beach at the edge of Chocolate Lake. This hotel also features a salt water pool, which is certainly a highlight!
