Check out the famous sculptures on the boardwalk in front of Bishop’s Landing, Fountain and Get Drunk, Fall Down—also known as the “drunken lampposts”—by Chris Hanson and Hendrika Sonnenberg. Fountain, featuring a single lamp post, shoots water into the harbour as though relieving itself after a long night out, while Get Drunk, Fall Down features two lamp posts—one fallen over and one looking on— together forming a widely photographed landmark along the Halifax waterfront.
