Once a movie theatre, East Peak Climbing on Quinpool Road has its unique feel: welcoming, just the right amount of chatty, and cheerful.
Things to See and Do
When you arrive, your first step will be to purchase your entry, sign a waiver, and make sure you’re equipped with the right gear.
Their bouldering area is 15 feet tall, and their roped walls range from 35 to 50 feet tall with a mix of auto belays, top ropes, and lead climbs.
Go with a group of friends, climb with your baby during the day, or go solo and soak in the atmosphere of an evening in the gym with fellow climbers cheering you on. For first-timers, their staff will teach you how to set up on their auto belay walls and use the bouldering area.
The only requirement to climb is that you weigh at least 25 pounds, making it a family-friendly space. It’s a great spot for experienced climbers, with a range of difficulty levels on each wall, and it even hosts competitions.
