Founders Doug & Suzanne Corkum started their dream in the 1980’s. Together, along with the help of their family. They hand-planted each vine and cultivated their vision from the ground up. In June of 1990 they opened the doors to Sainte Famille Wines. Suzanne became the first female winemaker in Nova Scotia and helped pave the way for what is now a booming wine industry. Sainte Famille Winery is home to some of the oldest vines in the province.
