The Press Gang offers a rotating selection of oysters from 10 different purveyors in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The selection changes daily.

At $3.25 each, the PG is a slightly higher price point than most Halifax restaurants, but their consistently high-quality food and service are completely worth the splurge!

2. The Barrington Steakhouse & Oyster Bar

3. EDNA

5. Lot Six Bar & Restaurant

Located on Argyle Street’s row of restaurants and bars, Lot Six offers a great variety of small, medium, large and sharing-size plates, featuring a variety of local seafood.

Lot Six offers a daily Oyster Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm, where visitors can slurp 6 oysters for $12, or 12 oysters for $20.

LOCAL TIP: The light-filled back atrium offers the best ambiance.
