Supporting Local Safely

There are plenty of resources that can help you evaluate the safety measures recommended for various activities as the Province begins to re-open:

More Ways You Can #SupportLocal

The impact of COVID-19 has been felt by everyone, including but not limited to local businesses. Many people are adjusting to changing household budgets and are not necessarily in a position to support local businesses by ordering delivery or pick-up for dinner, or by purchasing local art or household supplies.

There are also many non-financial ways to show your support – consider one of the following:

  • Following and liking your favourite local restaurants, retailers & businesses on social media.
  • Sharing their social media content with others.
  • Leaving a positive online review to support the business when things are up and running again.
  • Post a Dine & Support Local or Shop & Support Local graphic on your social channels to show your support [Download Here]
