4 – Treat yourself to dinner out

Not in the mood to cook?  Head out instead!

Plenty of restaurants around the city offer special NYE seatings – just make sure you make your reservations ASAP because they do book up quickly!

5 – Ring in 2018 at the Board Room Game Café

1256 Barrington St. – Downtown Halifax

If rolling into the New Year with a game of Yahtzee is your idea of a good time then you need to check out the NYE event at the Board Room Game Café!

Enjoy board games galore and a 2017 themes trivia night.  Your $20 ticket gets you a reserved table, champagne at midnight, and a snack platter.

6 – Take in a show!

Laugh and sing along with the city’s best NYE shows!

Head to Yuk Yuk’s at the Westin Nova Scotian for a night of comedy, Casino Nova Scotia to see local favourite Tom Cochrane, or A Dinner Theatre at the Saint Thomas Baptist Church.

7 – Hit the town!

Celebrate the brand new year in style with a night out on the town! Rather than waiting in a long (and chilly) line up, we recommend picking a spot that is selling advanced tickets.

Book your ticket ahead of time for one of the night’s hottest parties at Pacifico, The Marquee, or the Cunard Center.
