About This Experience

The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame has created a free walking tour for you to explore all the historic sporting sites of Halifax!

Follow the guide or grab a booklet at the Hall of Fame museum, and enjoy a self-guided tour around some of the most important sport heritage sites in Halifax.

There are three different routes of varying lengths with 18 points of interest. Each route begins at the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame, where you can start your walk with a free museum visit and a special exhibit featuring artifacts from the places highlighted on the walking routes.

 

Route 1: Downtown Core Loop

  • Walking time (non-stop): 50 minutes
  • Recommended time: 2 hours
  • Difficulty: Easy-Medium
