June - August

About This Experience

Be greeted by costumed interpreters in one of Dartmouth’s oldest houses with some of the most interesting history!

You’ll be taken on a tour through the home, where you’ll experience what life was like for the Quakers who settled for a brief period in downtown Dartmouth in the 1700’s.

You can dress up in period costume, learn about the history of the whaling industry and understand more about Atlantic whales.

For the brave, you can even catch of glimpse of an ancient whale’s eyeball in a jar!

LOCAL TIP: Quaker House is such a hidden gem, most locals don’t even know it exists.  Be sure to visit the newly renovated gardens out back.
