Celebrating its 5th year in 2019, the internationally recognized Halifax Oyster Festival presents an all-you-can sample raw bar over the course of three tasting sessions each fall on the Halifax waterfront. The festival highlights the best in Nova Scotia and Maritime oyster culture and farming.
Hosting 2,500 attendees, Halifax Oyster Festival offers an unique experience to meet and learn from the oyster farmer and their families, learning about the waters and history around local oysters. With 20+ individual farms, as well as Nova Scotian wine, beer, spirit and cider and the Nova Scotia Shucking Championship, the festival works to support local businesses while promoting Nova Scotian food and drink communities.
FOOD AND DRINK ON SITE: Oysters at the festival are unlimited. Other food and drink items are available too. Try a traditional east coast lobster roll, chowder or one of our non-seafood sliders. Pair it with a NS Spirit Co. product at our full service bar. These additional items can be purchased on site with food/drink tickets. Items run 5-10 tickets each. Ticket costs $1.

The festival takes place rain or shine, so if it rains, grab you sou-wester and rubber boots and prepare for a REAL Maritime night!|
