About This Experience

Enjoy the great outdoors year-round in Halifax with this truly Canadian experience; outdoor ice skating! What makes this classic Canadian experience even better? The fact that Halifax is home to the state-of-the-art Emera Oval; the largest outdoor, artificially-refrigerated ice surface east of Quebec City!

Located on the Halifax North Common, at the corner of North Park Street and Cogswell Streets, skating on The Oval is a great activity for visitors looking for fun winter things to do, because you don’t need to bring any equipment!
