  • South Magazine, Coffee Shop, Defense Casemates, Soldiers’ Library, Interior exhibits (Warden of the North, Shaping the Hill, and Orientation Film Theatre) and

Things you should know

AccessibilityThe site is wheelchair accessible, including the ramparts, the Army Museum, most ground-level exhibits and the washrooms. Audio-visual films are closed-captioned.

ParkingThere is an on-site paid parking lot for up to 80 cars located inside the fort’s West Ditch. The rate is $3.15 per visit. The Halifax Citadel’s parking lot also has designated areas for tour buses and recreational vehicles, and visitors with disabilities.
