Trying to decide how to treat your Dad on Father’s Day can be tough, but Halifax has plenty to enjoy for all kinds of dads!

1 – Get messy with Father’s Day Ribs & Beer at the Stubborn Goat

Bring your dad to the Stubborn Goat Gastropub for braised pork side ribs covered in sticky bourbon BBQ sauce ribs and craft beer. Don’t forget to buy him the Father’s Day flight too!

5 – Take Dad bouncing in Bedford

Family Fun Halifax is hosting a bounce fest at the Bedford mall. Drag your active dad out for a fun day bouncing around. Have him get his face painted, then buy him a BeaverTail for being such a great sport!

8 – Build something together

Join your dad in working with your hands and build a wooden planter together at this Hands on Halifax Father’s Day Bonding Project. There are two sessions: the first is from 12pm to 3pm and the second runs from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

There will a Father’s Day draw, and kids can even make a “Kub Car” with their dads in the Boatshop.
