The Halifax Gay Men’s Chorus (HGMC) presents three performances of their upcoming spring concert, An HGMC Kitchen Party on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, June 16, 17 and 18 at St. Andrew’s United Church in Halifax. All performances are at 7:30 pm (with doors opening at 6:30 pm).
An HGMC Kitchen Party features beloved traditional and contemporary music from Nova Scotia artists including: Denny Doherty, Rita MacNeil, Jimmy Rankin, Stan Rogers, Reeny Smith, and Robbie Smith.
HGMC promises a toe-tapping, heart soothing musical evening certain to inspire and entertain with a few unexpected surprises along the way !!
The HGMC is under the direction of Artistic Director, Bryan Crocker, and is accompanied by Cynthia Davies.
St. Andrew’s United is located at 6036 Coburg Road (on the corner of Coburg Road and Robie Street) in Halifax. Audience members will enter via the side glass double doors off Coburg Road and proceed up the stairs into the Upper Hall prior to the performance. Accessible entrances are also available for the concert.
Tickets are $50.00 for Patrons (Patrons will receive a $25 charitable receipt and will be assigned seating by HGMC ); $25.00 General Admission; and $15.00 for Students, Seniors, Under-waged.
COVID protocols will be in place with the Chorus and all Front of House volunteers wearing masks. Audience members are also encouraged to wear masks. The Conductor and various Chorus Members may choose to unmask when speaking to the audience. Soloists will also unmask during performance.
