The Art of City Building conference engages our city in conversations that challenge us. As cities start to rediscover themselves and navigate economic and social change – we looked around the world, across Canada and our own city, for inspiration and big ideas to share.

The growth of Halifax drives us to spark conversations about rediscovering, and we want to explore to see what it means to grow a region through economic and community development. We look for magic in science and the art of city building. We are back for our annual gathering of inspirational speakers and provocative conversations on how we design, build, move about, and live in cities, together.
