A Tribute to Jerry Granelli – TD Halifax Jazz Festival

The work and energy that Jerry Granelli put behind the TD Halifax Jazz Festival and the Creative Music Workshop has left an indelible mark on the music community. Jerry’s work and dedication have fostered a vibrant music and improvising arts community in Halifax and will continue to do so for years to come. The evening of music will be led by Jerry’s son, bassist J. Granelli. Guests will include faculty from the CMW and many of Jerry’s longtime collaborators, including vocalist Jay Clayton, pianist Jamie Saft, saxophonist Dani Oore, and Alan Syliboy along with many more.
